Communities (コミュニティ, Komyunitei) was a term used to refer to groups of Magicians that were formed on the basis of individual ideologies. According to Makoto Hitouji, there are over fifty Communities in existence.

Seven Communities[]
Out of all the known Communities, only seven were members of the International Magicians' Association, and were subsequently large enough to have voting rights granted to them. While each of the Seven do not associate themselves with Ghost Trailer, they do possess differing opinions on them.
- Wizard Brace: The Leader of the Seven Communities, it believed in having a harmonious co-existence with non-magicians. Primarily associated with Subaru Magic Academy.

Unaffiliated Communities[]
- Ghost Trailer: An antagonistic Community formerly led by Kazuma Ryuusenji, it believed in the utter extermination of non-magicians and magic supremacy. They were responsible for the Great Magic War, where their leader attempted to erase all humans from existence with the use of the spell Last Requiem.
